Jesus is the Only Way

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only way to eternity. If any one tells you otherwise, he has been deceived by a terrible lie. Jesus made it clear that He was the way the truth and the life. Without Him, we cannot know God, we cannot know truth, and we cannot reach Heaven. Without acknowledging that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, and accepting the blood he shed for sinners, we will certainly end up in hell. I am not saying this to sound cruel or harsh, I’m saying this because I love the people in this world, and I don’t want them to die in their sins and unbelief. God doesn’t want them to perish either, that’s why Jesus came. But unless the people accept Christ as their Savior and Lord, Jesus’ blood does nothing for them. Salvation then, is like a wrapped present which is offered at a party. Unless it is taken and unwrapped, the recipient does not own or benefit from that gift.
Every man’s sins weigh him down to hell. It doesn’t matter how many good deeds we have done in our lifetime. One sin is enough to condemn us, no matter how small it was. God does not allow a sinful soul to enter Heaven. That’s why we need Jesus so desperately. Only He can erase our sins, because He lived a life without sin and suffered the punishment which we deserve. Beyond dying for us, He conquered death and rose to life again. He now sits at the right hand of God in Heaven.
If you have not accepted Jesus’ gift yet, now is the perfect time. Don’t decide to accept Him later, accept Him now while you have the chance. We never know how much longer we’re going to live on this earth. An unexpected event could end your life at any moment. Today if you will heart God’s voice, harden not your heart. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.

John 10:1 & 7 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber… Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pastures.

1Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

What’s the Evidence of a Christian? Love.

I got this passage from: {The Voice of the Martyrs – USA}

“People in North Korea are required to report their neighbors for following Jesus. Question: if your neighbors were required to report whether or not you were following Jesus, would they have any evidence to report?”

Evidence:

Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Verses of Love:

1Co 13:4  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5  Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1Co 13:8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
1Co 13:4  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5  Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1Co 13:8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Rom 13:10  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal 5:26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

1Jn 2:5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1Jn 2:6  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
2Jn 1:6  And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

How Much Love do You Have?

                      Graph of a Christian’s Spiritual growth and  Jesus’ love filling their  vessel (heart).

Selfish

(What’s for me?)

My position:

All about me, myself. I’m keen on my own needs, I love those who love me, I’m caring and thoughtful when it pleases me. When I’m upset, I expect everyone to be subject to my needs and respect my feelings, I don’t always return the favor.

God’s position:

His salvation is a good thing. I get to go to Heaven because He forgave me of my sins. He loves me and knows that I’m only human, so He will excuse my short comings. He’s there when I need Him and blesses me. He also keeps me safe and away from harm and makes me well.

His commandments and will?

I’m a good Christian, so of course I love God with all of my heart. I try to do my best, although I am human and I do make mistakes. I sin a little now and then, but I’m still not as bad as a lot of people. I don’t look too far into things, so I don’t mean any harm when it comes to my stuff, and don’t think that God minds me to be happy and entertain myself.

Selfish, but am growing

(Put Away Evil!)

As I read the scriptures, I’m becoming more aware of God’s expectations of me and am concerned about my salvation. I’m wondering whether I am pleasing God, doing His will, and am obeying His commandments with the things that I am involved with. God has been showing me that my attitude is mean, selfish, uncaring, unloving, and not godly. My character flaws are preventing me from having a closer walk with Jesus and is separating me from Him. 1Jn 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. If I’m sinning at all, then that means that I’m not loving God with all of my heart, which is the first commandment.

Working on Selflessness

(Stop Sinning!)

I’m making an effort to put God first in my life, I still fail from time to time because my selfishness crops up again through temptation, but I’m really sorry for my sins and wish to repent from them all and be an overcomer of evil through Jesus’ strength and spirit. ( If I could just walk in the spirit, then I wouldn’t fulfill the lust of the flesh Gal 5:16).  I’m considering putting others before myself. I’m a wretched sinner, for the scriptures tell me that I’ve sinned, but God’s salvation is magnificent and graceful!And if I only repent and turn from wickedness, then I will be saved. I hope to please Jesus & be obedient to His commandments & will for my life.

Becoming Selfless-Caring about God & others.

( Be steadfast!)

I pray God will give me the desires of my heart, which is to become more like Him, to love Him truly and sincerely with my whole heart and to prefer others above myself. I want to be the servant of all like my Lord Jesus.

I know that I’m inadequate and don’t deserve God’s goodness. I want to do all that I can for Him. I want to be perfected; my goal is to become perfect, righteous, and godly.

Selflessness

(Strive for Perfection& be like Jesus)

I love everyone, even those who hate me, because I know what their end will be, & I love their soul and don’t want them to die. I love God with my whole heart and am willing to give up anything that is not pleasing to Him. God is most gracious and merciful to have forgiven me of my sins, to have given His life for my sake, & to give me eternal life through His precious blood; that I did not deserve nor ever could repay. I prefer others above myself and want them to have the best of everything, even if it means putting their needs before mine. In all things I want to do it as unto the Lord even unto death. My goal is to become perfect like my Lord, and bring souls to Jesus.

Crowned with Perfection

(In the Arms of God/finished)

100% Love, Joy, Peace. In the end of this life. Amen

To Be A Pilgrim

by John Bunyan

Who would true Valour see

Let him come hither;

One here will Constant be,

Come Wind, come Weather.

There’s no Discouragement

Shall make him once Relent,

His first avowed intent,

To be a Pilgrim

Who so beset him round,

With dismal Stories,

Do but themselves Confound;

His Strength the more is.

No Lion can him fright,

He’ll with a Giant Fight,

But he will have a right,

To be a Pilgrim.

Hobgoblin, nor foul Fiend,

Can Daunt his Spirit:

He knows, he at the end

Shall Life Inherit.

Then fancies fly away,

He’ll fear not what men say,

He’ll labour Night and Day

To be a Pilgrim.
